My Favorite Web Hosting Companies
|When I was first thinking about starting a blog / website several years ago, I really had no idea in the variations of web hosting companies out there. When I began seriously looking for a company that could not only handle all my needs, but offer great service, had many helpful options and was EASY to use, I was overwhelmed with what I found.
I consulted friends, reviews online and other bloggers for help, and luckily I was able to find the perfect companies that fit my needs.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with several website hosting companies, and I’ve gotten a pretty good handle on what works well and what doesn’t. Here are a list of my favorites. Each of these companies offers exceptional support, great discounts, many services for building a website that are super easy for the beginner, and more robust for the more experienced webmaster.
1. GoDaddy – GoDaddy has been around for quite some time and they more than 57 managed domains under their belt. They offer award-winning service, a great assortment of web builder tools, and they’re pricing is some of the best and cheapest around. One of my favorites!!!
2. 1&1 – 1&1 makes the list because it offers very competitive prices and it has some of the most user-friendly web builder tools. The offer great service and many of the best bells and whistles we’ve come to expect in building a great site. One of my favorites for beginner bloggers and site builders especially!!!
3. iPage – iPage was the very first hosting company that I used to obtain a domain name and create a website. I still use them and I’m consistently happy with their level of service and the fact that they are continually adding new tools and features for me to take advantage of! I definitely recommend checking them out!
4. FatCow – FatCow is another easy to use web hosting and domain registration companies. It offers multiple web editors, free advertising coupons on Bing, Facebook, Google Adwords, and has very clearcut features!
5. MyHosting – MyHosting is one of the more robust web hosting companies I’ve come across. It offers various levels of hosting and has a lot of design features to choose from. There are many web ad on features and it has great support! You should definitely check this one out for everything that it offers!
